Description Boshart FSC05NO Series Control (Sensor) Switches are used to send signals to a control panel for the activation of pumps and alarms. Normally Open (Pump Down) - Contacts are open while the switch is hanging down and will close on a rising liquid level. Typically used for high level alarms and emptying tank applications. This product can be used for a variety of applications, including but not limited to, septic tanks, sump pits, water tanks, and pump chambers. These control switches are narrow 20° angle, mechanically operated, and the contacts are opened / closed by a microswitch which is activated by a ball inside the float housing. All switches are supplied with two bare wire leads for wiring into panel terminals in several cable lengths. Suitable for applications up to 5 Amps, with fluid temperatures up to 140° F (60°C).
